Bluey's Big Play Reading Theatre reviews
Gregory Porter
The place was great. Food good. I don't know how I missed this gem all of these years I've been visiting DC. This was my first time at the Howard Theater. The waiters/waitresses unseasoned and in need of training, but they were polite.
Everyone knew their music and were not hesitant to sing along and clap and generally join into the party. Bluey's Big Play draws the crowd wherever I have seen them. saxophone player was phenomenal and hypnotic. Band was tight and exciting.
Bluey's Big Play was able to captivate and mesmerize the audience with their warm, melodic, deep, and powerful voice. The crowd felt like family. Seriously! I would travel across foreign waters to hear this group again.
